Absurd Science

The Viral Load is Positively Correlated With Altitude

Date Line: September, 2020

So let me get this straight. I walk into a bar / café / restaurant, and I’m required to wear a mask in order to walk across the floor. Once I sit down at a table, however, I can safely remove my mask, and leave it off the whole time I’m sitting.

If I want to stand up and walk around – to go to the restroom, for example – I have to
don my mask once again, to keep me safe from the virus.

So, are we saying that when I’m breathing air at around five or six feet off the
ground, that is dangerously infected, viral-laden air which must be filtered through a
piece of cloth but, when I’m breathing air at around three feet off the ground, while
I’m seated, that is safe, clean, healthy air?

I had no idea the virus is inactive below a certain height threshold. This must go
some way to explaining why kids are mostly immune to Covid – they’re just too short
to catch it.
